Amaran Spotlight SE

This is an amazing tool to add to your photography/video kit. The Amaran spotlight is a modifier that gives you an even beam of light in the shape of a circle. It’s a much smaller, more portable version of the popular, much heftier (4 lbs vs 20 lbs 🫠)- and more expensive Aputure Spotlight. It’s a Bowen’s mount, which means you can mount it on a large variety of lights. I pair it with the Amaran 300C, a 300 watt RGB COB light for unlimited possibilities!

You can shape the light into thinner beams with the four built in metal shutters. It also comes with 15 gobo inserts for different projection shapes, which allow you to cast your lights in the form of windows, blinds, trees, clouds, fire and more.

It’s a very worthy $300 investment. The size alone makes it a sure thing. It stays in my equipment wagon. I’ve even been able to pack it in my camera bag. Source: trust me bro.
